OUR STORY
We started Dr. Norm’s in honor of our parents, both dedicated healthcare professionals. Our dad, who was the real Dr. Norm, and our mom Audrey, a pharmacist and prolific baker. In fact, our flagship chocolate chip cookie is based on her original recipe!
The idea came from our experience in the traditional cookie industry. We founded a premium cookie brand in 2013 that honored our mom. Audrey’s cookies were sold at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Costco and more. In 2016, inspired by the coming cannabis legalization in CA, we set out to take the success we’d had with our traditional cookies, and develop a line of cannabis edibles that went well beyond the status quo. At the time, all cannabis edibles tasted like weed, and dosing was an unpredictable guessing game! Our mission was to create a line of cannabis products that offered a delicious, consistent and precisely dosed experience.
