2007 – 2017 – Founder of Audrey’s Cookies. A cookie company created in honor of her beloved mom Audrey. “Audrey spread her love through her magical cookies and we started the company to carry on her tradition”. It began as a cottage business selling online and scaled production through co-packer to regional and national distribution in mainstream grocery chains including: Gelson’s, Bristol Farms, Vons, Pavillion’s, Albertson’s, Whole Foods, Sprouts and Costco.
Prior to launching Audrey’s Cookies, Roberta was Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing for MTV Networks. Primary responsibilities were sales (distribution of the networks to cable operators), contract negotiations and marketing of the many cable networks under the MTV Networks umbrella. An amazing experience working with some of the most exciting and well-known consumer brands at the time.
A 30-year veteran of the music industry, Jeff is an accomplished instrumentalist, composer, producer and founder of HUM Music – one of the premiere music and sound production companies in the US. Jeff and his team have created music for film, TV and the advertising industry winning a slew of awards including an Emmy and a Grammy nomination. With decades of experience creating audio branding campaigns for top global companies, Jeff has become an expert in assisting brands form deeper and more meaningful connections with their audiences.
In 2015, Jeff joined Roberta to assist with branding and marketing initiatives for Audrey’s Cookies. Jeff helped her in growing Audrey’s into a nationally distributed brand. More important was when Roberta turned towards Jeff and joked, “We should do weed cookies!”. Jeff said, “I think that’s a cool idea!” and Dr. Norm’s was born. Koz’s passion for the cannabis industry rivals his love of music. “It reminds me of the early days of the music industry. The excitement was palpable, there was opportunity everywhere, and you couldn’t wait to get to work”!
